Design Thinking - Summer Studio 2013
Upon accepting my new job, my principal asked me to rework the course I created for my curriculum class to better align with an art history focus. She has asked me to teach this course at the start of the school year in a two week time-frame. After taking Design Thinking I decided that in redesigning my course I really wanted my students to become the explorers and the researchers. I have broken my course into two parts, art history and research and research, observation, and design. Between the two focuses I hope my students will come away with learning more about history and how marketing affects and contributes to the growth of art history. As well as a strong understanding of the fundamentals of the Design Thinking process.
