Research Biography
Tiffany Searcy's latest research has encompassed a series of social and cultural motivations which demonstrate societal change. These matters stand as historical evidence of the impact art has had on the cultivation of cultural norms. Her research on the feminist performance artist Carolee Schneemann’s Interior Scroll, provides analytical insight into feminist art and its influence on American culture. Looking to her region, she also developed a curriculum unit on The Coca-Cola Company based on her investigation of the evolution of advertisement and artistic contributions to contemporary culture. In her search for artistic stimulus and progression of artistic innovation, she examined the development of photography, emphasizing its impression on the fine arts and art education.
